Terms
Terms of use
The UCFarms website lets you explore our planned crops, learn about nutrients through the Nutrient Atlas, and share what you’re interested in through My Farm. Submitting My Farm expresses interest. It does not place an order, require payment, or commit you to buying. The Nutrient Atlas provides educational information about food and nutrients. It does not provide personal medical advice.

Using the site
By using this website you agree to these terms. You may browse the site, read the Nutrient Atlas, submit your interest through My Farm and send us a message through the contact form for your own personal or business purposes. Please use the forms honestly: give details that are yours or that you are authorized to give, and do not submit interest on someone else’s behalf without their permission.
You agree not to:
- send spam, automated or bulk submissions, or anything unlawful, abusive or misleading through the forms;
- try to break into, overload, scrape at scale, or interfere with the site or the services behind it;
- copy or republish substantial parts of the site, other than as allowed below.
My Farm and the contact form
My Farm records interest so we can plan what to grow. It is not a store. Submitting a request does not reserve produce, guarantee availability, set a price, or create a contract to buy or sell. UCFarms is still building its first growing operation and may change its plans, including which crops it grows and which areas it serves. A message sent through the contact form is a message to us, not a binding request. How we handle the details you give us is explained in our Privacy Policy.
Information on the site
The Nutrient Atlas and other educational content are provided for general information. Nutrient amounts are reference values from public databases (for example the U.S. Department of Agriculture) for the foods named, not measurements of UCFarms produce unless the site says so explicitly. Descriptions of how nutrients relate to body systems are educational; they are not medical advice, and they do not promise any health outcome. Talk to a qualified professional about your own diet or health.
Production Standards describe how UCFarms plans to work. Where the site says something is planned or in development, it is not yet operating. We do our best to keep information accurate and current, but we do not guarantee that every page is complete or error free, and we may change or remove content at any time.
Who owns what
The UCFarms name, the wordmark, the design of this site, our own text and our own photographs belong to Urban Container Farmers LLC or are used under license. You may view and print pages for personal, non commercial reference and share links to them. Any other use of our content needs our written permission.
Some photographs on the site are licensed from third parties and are credited on the Photo Credits page, each under its own license terms. Nutrient reference data comes from the public sources named on the Atlas sources page and remains subject to those sources’ terms. Anything you submit through the site stays yours; you give us permission to use it for the purposes described in the Privacy Policy.
Third party material and links
The site links to outside websites, such as source databases and license pages. Those sites are not ours; we are not responsible for their content or their handling of your information, and a link is not an endorsement. The site runs on services provided by others (hosting, storage and email delivery). We choose them with care but do not control them.
Limits on our responsibility
The site is provided as it is and as available. To the extent the law allows, Urban Container Farmers LLC is not liable for loss or damage arising from your use of the site or your reliance on its information, from interruptions, or from errors in content. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under the law where you live.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, United States, where UCFarms is based, without regard to its conflict of law rules. If any part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the site grows, for example when a new feature launches. When we do, we change the revision date above and, for a material change, post a notice on the site before it takes effect. Using the site after a change means you accept the updated terms. Questions about these terms can be sent to urbancontainerfarmers@gmail.com.
